Our Kindy-Ready Learning Sessions are a program designed to build children’s confidence and school readiness skills in a fun and nurturing way.
This is not a preschool or long day-care service – it’s a 2-hour enrichment session where your child can explore, learn and grow through themed, Montessori-inspired play.
Program Details
When: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (runs on a 10 week term)
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Who: Children aged 2.5 to 4 years
Where: Castle Hill Centre (only)
Cost: $60 + GST per session (per child) invoiced per term
What We Do
Each session includes:
A welcome circle with songs and theme introduction
A work cycle of 3–4 themed activities (Montessori-inspired)
A story or group song linked to the fortnightly theme
A creative or practical task (art, music, or real-life skills)
We keep things simple: just a handful of activities each day so children can explore deeply at their own pace.
We use weekly content themes such as Space, Construction, Occupations (Jobs), Jungle, and Science to keep learning fun, fresh and connected.

How We Use the EYLF
Our sessions are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which underpins all early childhood education in Australia. While we are not a preschool, we ensure our program links meaningfully to the five EYLF outcomes:
Children have a strong sense of identity – through role play, storytelling, and forming friendships.
Children are connected with and contribute to their world – by exploring community helper themes and cultural celebrations.
Children have a strong sense of wellbeing – through movement, music, and developing self-help skills.
Children are confident and involved learners – with open-ended play, problem-solving, and Montessori-inspired activity trays.
Children are effective communicators – through songs, group discussions, and early literacy activities.
This ensures every session is fun, purposeful, and aligned with national best practice.
